The Academy of Art presents the best work of graduating students at its annual Spring Show gallery exhibit. This year, it was kicked off on May 21 at 601 Brannan Street. The Academy invited thousands of industry professionals to spend the day evaluating graduate portfolios and interviewing prospective hires. The exhibit stayed open for the public to enjoy for a few weeks after the opening day, and the Academy also hosted an Open House to recruit prospective students.

2009 marked the first time the Academy celebrated Spring Show outside of 601 Brannan — opening it up to the world in real time on the web, hosted by noted art and design journalist Alissa Walker, Gelatobaby. View commentary, photos, videos and more from Spring Show 2009 here.
